At Vulcan Dental we place and restore dental implants.
If you are missing one or more of your teeth, there are a variety of treatment options to replace them. An alternative to bridges, partials or complete dentures may be dental implants. Implants manufactured (most commonly) in titanium are used to replace missing roots. They are placed in healthy bone and require several months to fully heal and support artificial replacement teeth. They are comfortable and look like natural teeth.
If you are interested in replacing a missing tooth, give us a call and come in for an implant consult. We will perform xrays and examination to determine if you are a candidate.
Socket Preservation
Socket preservation is commonly prescribed after a tooth extraction to minimize the bone from collapsing in. After a tooth is extracted the alveolar bone begins to resorb. Freeze dried bone material is placed into the root socket and the gums are stitched to hold it in place in attempt to maintain the bone width and height. Having a socket preservation procedure will allow better outcomes of treatment to replace the missing tooth space such as in placing a dental implant.
